I have an athletic build - short with butt.The shorts hit at mid to low waist. While some shorts dig in and create an unflatteringlove handle bulge? These do not. They’re soft at the waist with an internal drawstring to adjust if needed. But it means I can wear just a sports bra to run in the summer and not worry about that tightness. They’re super lightweight and comfy and I love the green color! Got a small and I’m 38” hips and 27” waist
