It's time to
This summer, protect their skin the way it should be protected — with ultralight UPF30+ gear that works all day. No chemicals. No reapplication. No fight.
Why we built this
We started ANETIK to solve a simple problem: how to stay comfortable in brutal heat. But when we became parents, it wasn't just about us anymore. It was about them.
We watched our kids squirm away from sunscreen. We read the labels. We didn't love what we found. We realized the best way to protect a child's skin isn't to lather it in chemicals — it's to cover it.
That's Cover Kids First. Not a slogan. It's what we do every morning before our own kids walk out the door.
Real families. Real beach days. The real problem
Most sunscreens rely on chemical filters that absorb into the skin. For children, whose bodies are still developing, that raises real questions about what we're putting on their skin every single day.
Chemical UV filter
One of the most common sunscreen chemicals in the U.S. Studies have linked it to hormone disruption and it is absorbed into the bloodstream at levels that concern pediatric researchers.
Chemical UV filter
Used for UVB protection and formula stability. Research shows it can degrade into benzophenone, a known carcinogen, and is found in the bloodstream long after application.
Chemical UV filter
A UV filter banned in several countries due to endocrine-disrupting properties. Still permitted in some U.S. formulations, including products labeled for kids.
< 1 in 4
TheEWG's 2025 Sunscreen Guidefound fewer than 1 in 4 sunscreen products on the market are fully safe and effective. That means the majority of sunscreens — including many marketed specifically to kids — contain ingredients that health authorities around the world have flagged as concerning. This isn't about fear. It's about giving your family asimpler, more effective alternative.
The ANETIK Solution
UPF30+ means the fabric blocks over 96% of UV radiation. An OHSU study found UPF clothing outperforms sunscreen in every measurable category. And a garment a child keeps on all day protects more than a UPF50+ shirt they pulled off by noon because it was too hot.
PrimoLite Mesh · UPF30+01
Pull it on before you leave. UPF30+ PrimoLite mesh starts working the moment it's on. No timing, no waiting, no application window.
02
Ultralight mesh stays breathable in 95-degree heat. Kids actually want to keep it on — which means the protection actually stays on.
03
No reapplication. Won't wash off in water. Won't sweat off on the trail. Protection you put on once and trust for the whole day.

Better than sunscreen
I have a few of these for myself, so I decided to pick one up for my son. It fits him well and he thinks the orange color is pretty cool.
