I'm an outdoor enthusiast, scientist, and wildland firefighter and I've been using this shirt for over a year for different adventures and field work. I've thru-hiked the entire Sierra High route in this shirt to protect me from that high elevation sun and it was the perfect lightweight shirt to get me through long hot days backpacking without overheating. I also currently do fire ecology research in high alpine areas of Colorado and continue to grab this lightweight sun shirt for my field days to avoid exposure to that high elevation sun while staying cool throughout hotter days. Lastly, I love how the women's sun shirts actually have more color options other than teal, pink, and black. As someone who's worked as a professional guide, is a long time outdoor enthusiast, a scientist, and a firefighter I want to have access to all the same colors the men have and feel like myself in the field. I always appreciate it when companies don't just pink it and shrink it and actually give women more color options. If you're looking for the perfect sun shirt, you've found it. I'm 5'2" 110 lbs and I chose the XS size. The sleeves are long enough to protect my hands if needed and the shirt is a bit longer so it easily goes over my bottom when pulled down. I have an XS torso for reference. There's a handy side pocket that's big enough to fit my iphone 13 small, some running snacks, or car keys for a quick run.
